St James’s Institute of Oncology (Bexley Wing)

Clinical research facilities are provided in the newly completed Bexley Oncology Wing with eight protected research beds and comprehensive outpatient and imaging facilities for the Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre.  The Bexley Wing is one of the largest and most comprehensive single site facilities for cancer care on a main general hospital campus in Europe comprising 66,000m2 with 350 beds, all non-surgical oncology, full pathology, radiology, haematology and immunology services and major tertiary cancer surgery serving the population of West and much of North Yorkshire (approximately 3M people).
