About
B.Tech Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering (First-class), Kerala University (2004-08)
MRes Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (Distinction), University of Leeds (2009-10).
Roles: Network Modelling Group, Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciencia, Portugal (Apr – Nov 2011),
I was involved in developing a module for performing Monte Carlo simulations on discrete models for the network modelling software GINsim.
University of Leeds, Bioinformatics Researcher (Nov 2011 – present).
Much of the work at the bioinformatics technology group focuses on supporting the growing theoretical and computational needs of wet laboratory based biomedical research. Presently, my work involves collaborating with researchers from various projects to analyse gene expression data. By the exposure to analysing a variety of high throughput data, I hope to develop pipelines/tools for the analysis of microarrays and next generation sequence methods.
