The interests of Rongjun’s group lie in: the design and evaluation of biomaterials (e.g. stimuli-responsive polymers) and viral vectors for controlled, traceable and targeted drug delivery; the development of biomaterials (e.g. macroporous polymeric scaffolds) for bioproduction, bioseparation and tissue engineering applications; the study of the technology and underlining science in lyophilisation and cryopreservation to improve the long term stability of pharmaceuticals and living cells.
