About
Interdisciplinary Physics, University of East Anglia, 1994. PhD Mathematics, University of Southampton, 1998. Scientific postdoctoral positions, University of Southampton (1998-2004). National Air traffic Services (2004-2007). MRC Career development fellow (2007-2010). Bioinformatics technology group leader (2010-present).
My research interests are broadly based on the application of quantitative methods to understand biological processes. I am using quantitative methods to
- build integrative models of biological function
- carry out hypothesis driven biological data analysis.
My biological interests are to understand the relationship between genotype and phenotype. This has specifically been applied to understand cancer, metabolism and mammalian development.
