14th December 2009 – Neuroscience Away Day
Its time for the next Neuroscience Awayday organised by Neur@L (Neuroscience at Leeds), to be held on December 14th at Boddington Hall. With talks representing the full scope of neuroscience undertaken in Leeds, this event aims to bring together neuroscientists from across the University, transcending faculties and technologies in order to foster the development of new ideas and approaches and to further strengthen the existing Neur@l network.
The event includes a Christmas lunch, quiz and a glass of wine over judging for the poster prize, so this promises to be an enjoyable and stimulating day for all. If you have not already done so could you please register with Cheryl Gale (c.gale@leeds.ac.uk) as soon as possible, stating your name, departmental address, phone number, email and any dietary preference. Can I also encourage anyone who has a suitable poster to bring it along, where it will be eligible for a £100 (Amazon vouchers) poster prize. If you intend to bring a poster please let Cheryl know and give her the title of your poster. She will then allocate it a number for the corresponding board, as we need to know how many poster boards are required and we would like to include poster titles in the conference booklet.
