Workshops and away-day events

The theme for these half- or full-day meetings is based around BHRC-relevant research topics and the events aim to bring together researchers working in this field from across various disciplines.  More specifically we aim to cover aspects related to and invite professionals involved at all steps associated with research and development of medical or healthcare applications, such as Biology, Engineering, Clinical Trials, Economics, Physics, etc.  

Workshops are dedicated to specific or specialised research topics whereas Away-days have more generic and wider interest themes.          

The theme for a Workshop or an Away-day may concern:

• Disease (e.g. Breast Cancer)
• Technology / Methodology (e.g. Mathematical Modelling, Particular aspects of Imaging or Biomarkers Development, Identification of New Therapeutic Targets)
• Problem Solving (e.g. designed around specific research problems or questions) 

These events are openly advertised across UoL and LTHT and all researchers are invited to register.
