Networking Events

Translational networking meetings

These are short duration (i.e. 2hr) usually lunchtime events, where people who are interested in a specific research activity or topic, get together in an informal and relaxed way.  It often involves scientists having the opportunity to meet clinicians specialising in a particular disease topic and being able to discuss the clinical perspective of their work.  The same principle can be applied to professionals from any discipline or combinations of disciplines.

Translational networking meetings are organised for small groups of approximately 20-25 people who are invited to attend.  The attendance list is drawn up primarily by the person proposing the event.  These meetings do not require agendas or presentations but often attendees are asked beforehand to suggest relevant issues that they are interested in discussing.

If you have any suggestions for a Translational networking lunch please contact us to discuss further.
