Bioscreening Technology Group developing collaborative links with China

Dr Darren Tomlinson, Bioscreening Technology Group Leader, has recently attended a Diagnostics Open Innovation Workshop in Guangzhou, China (November 9 – 13, 2011).

The focus of the Workshop was on enhancing China-UK collaboration with regard to technologies, systems or biological assays which will facilitate the identification and treatment of medical conditions. The workshop aimed to investigate further the application and development of known solutions. Through connections made at this event, Darren has identified and developed potentially valuable links with Chinese industries and academics, and as a result has submitted 3 applications to the Science Bridges and Chinese Academy of Sciences.
