The Biomedical and Health Research Centre (BHRC) is a formal strategic partnership between the four science Faculties of the University of Leeds and the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The centre promotes collaboration between basic sciences, translational, clinical and applied health research to create an internationally competitive centre of excellence in research.

- 4 May 2010 Major grant award - We are pleased to announce that Dr Francesco Del Galdo (Senior Translational Research Fellow) has been awarded a £764k grant by The European League Against Rheumatism.
